Graduate Student Appreciation Week kicks off today

Purdue is celebrating the contributions, impact and value of its graduate students during Graduate Student Appreciation Week, set for this week (March 31-April 4).

A variety of activities and events hosted by Purdue Graduate Student Government and sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars will take place at and around the West Lafayette campus as follows:

Monday, March 31

Spring picnic from 5:30-7 p.m. on the Krach Lawn

Tuesday, April 1

Bubble tea from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Feng Cha, 100 Foundry Drive, Suite 14

Wednesday, April 2

Game night from 6-7 p.m. at the Purdue Graduate Student Center

Thursday, April 3

Movie screening of “Mickey 17” at 6 p.m. at GQT Wabash Landing 9, 300 E State St.

Friday, April 4

Coffee corner from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Greyhouse Coffee’s Campus House, 1000 Mitch Daniels Blvd.

The Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs will host the following additional events April 7-11 for Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs students:

Tom’s Coffee Truck from 9-11 a.m. at Memorial Mall

Wednesday, April 9

Popcorn, puzzles and coloring from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the OIGP office, Young Hall, Suite B80

Ice cream social from 2-4 p.m. in Young Hall, Room B83
