Healthy Boiler workshop to focus on ‘attitude of gratitude’

An upcoming Healthy Boiler workshop focuses on the importance of gratitude. The workshop, titled “Attitude of Gratitude,” takes place from noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 5 and supports the behavioral health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program.

Practicing gratitude offers physiological, psychological and social benefits that improve our bodies, minds and relationships. In this workshop, participants will learn the benefits of cultivating a lifestyle focused on gratitude, improving their health and finding practical ways to be more grateful every day.

“Gratitude isn’t just a feeling we express when someone does something kind,” added Lindsay Bloom, health coach at Purdue Fort Wayne. “Gratitude is a way of life, and I’m looking forward to sharing more information about it during the workshop.”

Those interested in attending the workshop should register by Dec. 4 via the Healthy Boiler Portal. The registration link can be found under the “Healthy Boiler Workshops” section on the portal’s homepage. Hover over the workshop’s square and click on the circle “i” symbol to register.

Healthy Boiler workshops and lifestyle programs are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan.
