This week’s ‘Thumbs Up’ recipients

Jan Saeger and Jen Fishman

Jan Saeger (Purdue Global Health Sciences) and Jen Fishman (Purdue Global Law School): A huge thanks to Jan Saeger, Purdue Global Health Sciences faculty, and Jen Fishman, Purdue Global Law School associate dean. Jan created the “Breath and Balance” podcasts back in 2019 in response to COVID as a way to support our faculty and staff. The content continues to help support everyone at Purdue Global as the School of Business has made these available to students on PGIpods. Most recently, Jen shared these with Purdue Global law students during finals week. What a great way to support our students. Kudos to you both for going over and above! Thank you! — Laurie Hansen (Purdue Global Alumni Relations)

Sue Provo

Sue Provo (Administrative Services): I would just like to give a huge thank-you to Sue Provo for everything she has done to help me as I have transitioned to a new role. She is always willing to help me and does so quickly. I appreciate all she does for us. — Amy Klutzke (Enrollment Management)

Liz Fitzgerald

Liz Fitzgerald (Center for Teaching and Learning): The CTL013 course on growth mindset is one of the best professional development training workshops I have ever taken. I started putting the ideas into practice immediately and found relevance to my career, my classrooms and my daily life. The exercises give one a lot to consider, and I will be revisiting this workshop throughout the year as I aim to meet my personal and professional goals. Well done! Thank you! — Paige Erickson (Purdue Global General Education)

Keith DePoy

Keith DePoy: Thanks to Keith for finding a gas leak in the Lilly Hall chaseway. The Purdue University Fire Department was called, and a leak was detected. The leak migrated through the wall from Room G-201 behind a fume hood. Great job being aware and realizing the potential dangers that come from a natural gas leak. — Jerry Culvahouse (Operations and Maintenance)

Patti Pelletier

Patti Pelletier (Purdue Global Learning and Leadership): Kudos to Patti Pelletier, who did an overhaul of our annual employee compliance trainings. Patti focused the important information and helped it flow smoothly to the finish line. Many noted the improvement! — Carolyn Nordstrom (Purdue Global Office of the Chancellor)
