‘One Hour with HR’ sessions continue in September

Purdue Bell Tower

One Hour with HR” learning segments, featuring both in-person and virtual options, were introduced in late 2023 to provide opportunities to staff and supervisors to become better informed about relevant HR topics and to connect with others. The fall series will begin with an updated session on leaves at Purdue, concentrating on the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act processes and the addition of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act information.

Both in-person and virtual sessions are available for employees, as well as for supervisors.

Due to feedback from the previous session and the addition of new processes, this session will be 90 minutes long. The Benefits Leaves team will be facilitating the sessions and will be able to help answer questions.

Employees

  • Sept. 11, 10-11:30 a.m., PRCE 277 – in-person session
  • Sept. 27, 1-2:30 p.m. via Teams – virtual session

Supervisors

  • Sept. 12, 1-2:30 p.m., ARMS B071 – in-person session
  • Sept. 25, 8:30-10 a.m. via Teams – virtual session

Once registered, the Teams link for the virtual sessions will be sent in a separate email.
