Fall 2024 virtual Road to Retirement event slated for Sept. 25-27 for all benefits-eligible employees

Save the date: All benefits-eligible employees are invited to take part in the upcoming fall Road to Retirement virtual conference.

This special semiannual, three-day event offers a wide variety of topics focused on financial wellness and retirement planning, and will take place Sept. 25-27. The program aims to provide attendees with key information they need to help plan and save for retirement, regardless of where they are on their career path.

Designed for all Purdue, Purdue Global, Purdue for Life and Purdue Research Foundation employees, the event offers a wide variety of presentations and resources for faculty and staff approaching retirement, as well as those ready to learn more about financial wellness basics, including the building blocks of saving and planning for retirement.

The fall Road to Retirement conference schedule includes virtual presentations and on-demand resources offered by representatives from a variety of financial wellness and retirement planning perspectives, including:

  • Indiana Public Retirement System-Public Employees Retirement Fund
  • Purdue University
  • Securian
  • Social Security Administration
  • TIAA
  • Vanguard

Presentation topics during the three-day program include learning retirement program basics, investing and saving for retirement, plus health care costs in retirement, Social Security, retiree health care options and more. On-demand presentations from the spring 2024 conference as well as independent study sessions, which include sessions specific to Spanish speaking employees, are on the program’s webpage.
