Deadline extended to April 12 for MaPSAC Excellence Award nominations

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee is seeking nominations for its MaPSAC Excellence Award through April 12.

The award recognizes a full-time management, professional or grandfathered operational/technical staff member with at least two consecutive years of service on the West Lafayette campus who demonstrates excellence by: 

  • Showing initiative.
  • Leading by example.
  • Showing exemplary customer service.
  • Acting as a university ambassador.
  • Being a high performer.

The winner of the award will receive a plaque and $1,500 subject to tax withholdings. Any member of the university community can submit a nomination, but current MaPSAC members cannot be nominated.

Nominations can be submitted online and must include a statement that outlines how the nominee meets the areas of excellence listed above as well as two letters of recommendation from any faculty and staff member or student. 

The 2023 MaPSAC Excellence Award winner was Katie May, a senior academic advisor in the College of Pharmacy.
