Women in Engineering Program invites high school juniors to campus

Registration is open for a free, engineering-focused program April 22 on the Purdue University campus.

Exploring Engineering at Purdue is sponsored by the Women in Engineering Program and is open to all high school juniors but may be of particular interest to women interested in engineering. Parents, guardians or teachers are encouraged to attend with participants.

This event connects participants with women studying engineering, engineering career professionals and staff members. It also offers participants the chance to explore engineering majors, pathways and experiential opportunities of their choice.

The event will be held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET on Purdue University’s West Lafayette campus.

Those arriving on April 21 are invited to attend an evening meet-and-greet session inside Dudley/Lambertus Hall. Meet with representatives from engineering schools, organizations and clubs to discuss various opportunities.

More information and online registration are available here.

Those with questions regarding Exploring Engineering at Purdue can contact Dawn Mikels at the Women in Engineering Program office, 765-494-3889 or wiep@purdue.edu.
