Nominations sought for outstanding senior students

Nominations are being accepted for the Flora Roberts Award and the G.A. Ross Award for 2024.

Faculty and staff are invited to nominate students for these awards, which recognize two seniors who best fulfill the following requirements:

  • Graduating senior student (December 2023, May 2024 and August 2024 graduates can apply)
  • Minimum 3.0 graduation index
  • Commitment to scholarship (undergraduate research, publications, etc.)
  • Commitment to leadership and service (on campus or in the community)
  • Outstanding character

A committee composed of student peers will select award recipients. 

All nominations must be submitted electronically, and the nomination form is available online. Nominations are due by Feb. 13. Visit the Ross and Roberts award webpage for additional information. 

The recipients each receive a $2,000 award, medallion and their name permanently inscribed on the award marker on the Purdue Engineering Mall.
