Presentation to focus on research capabilities, opportunities on the sub-orbital commercial rockets

The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships on Tuesday (Oct. 7) will host a presentation by Steven Collicott, professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, on "New Research Capabilities and Opportunities on the Sub-Orbital Commercial Rockets."

Collicott will talk about the emerging low-cost commercial sub-orbital rocket industry. His presentation also will explore new advancements and capabilities for research and education, NASA's Flight Opportunity Program, funding and Purdue-specific opportunities.

The presentation will be 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 313. Faculty from all disciplines are invited to attend.
