Seminars set for associate vice provost candidates

Candidates for the associate vice provost for undergraduate academic affairs will present seminars this week. This position will provide leadership for initiatives supporting the implementation of Foundations of Excellence.

The search committee for the position is inviting faculty and staff to attend the seminars, which will focus on "The First Year Experience at Purdue: Five Years from Now":

* Today (Sept. 18). 8:45-9:45 a.m. Stewart Center, Room 311. Daphene Koch, associate professor of building construction management technology.

* Wednesday (Sept. 19). 9:35-10:30 a.m. Stewart Center, Room 311. Larry Leverenz, clinical professor of health and kinesiology.

* Thursday (Sept. 20). 3:05-3:50 p.m. Potter Hall, Room B050. Dennis Minchella, associate dean for undergraduate education and professor of biological sciences.
