WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —

The state of Purdue University’s metrics in the past 12 months broke records in almost all dimensions, according to a summary report presented by Purdue President Mung Chiang to trustees on Friday (Aug. 2).
 
At its meeting, the board approved a contract with CityBus for the 2024-25 academic year, the university’s 2025 health plans and 10-year capital plan, as well as facilities projects, apartment leases, faculty positions and resolutions of appreciation, among its actions.

  • Purdue research awards, philanthropic fundraising, undergrad and graduate applications and selectivity, graduation rate, online enrollment, patents received and media visibility all set records in fiscal year 2024
     
  • Purdue trustees approve negotiated CityBus contract agreement for 2024-25 academic year
  • Purdue trustees approve 2025 health plans with modest employee premium increase 
  • Purdue trustees approve 10-year capital plan, including 2 projects that will go to state lawmakers in upcoming 2025-27 capital request
