Dr. Elizabeth K. Briody
– Co-Principal Investigator, RED

Elizabeth Briody is an anthropologist and a Co-PI of Purdue’s RED Project. In the first three years of the project, her research focused on collaborative work strategies and community spirit among ME majors, faculty-student interaction, and the implementation of re|course teams established to improve ME culture. She is founder and principal of Cultural Keys LLC (culturalkeys.us) where she helps organizations transform their culture.

 

 

Ed Morrison
-PI, RED

Ed Morrison is Director of the Purdue Agile Strategy Lab. With his team in the Lab, Ed has developed a new approach to collaboration and strategy for open, loosely connected networks. Called Strategic Doing, the discipline focuses on building collaborations quickly, moving them toward measurable outcomes, and making adjustments along the way. Prior to coming to Purdue, Ed worked as a consultant in regional economic development and corporate strategy. Ed is a member of the Board of Directors of the University Economic Development Association.

 

Center for Instructional Excellence (CIE)

Dr. David Nelson

David B. Nelson is Associate Director of the Center for Instructional Excellence at Purdue University. He received his Ph.D in World History from the University of California, Irvine in 2008. David has been involved in many educational research projects at Purdue, including published worked in the programming education, student engagement and academic performance in dynamics engineering courses, and educational modalities in engineering, technology and economics.

 

 

Dr. Jason FitzSimmons

Jason FitzSimmons received a B.S. (1998) and M.S. (2000) degree in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. (2010) in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His primary areas of interest are active learning spaces, Engineering and STEM development as well as curriculum and program development.
