The Study Abroad Office will honor Purdue’s extension of the P/NP deadline. 

The Pass/No Pass grade mode should be administered through Purdue as described below, not through a student’s host university or program provider, as Purdue’s grading polices may differ from other institutions’.

The following new deadlines apply:

For programs ending before June 1

5 p.m. EST on May 1 or the Friday before the program’s final exam period, whichever occurs first. 

For programs ending June 1 and after

5 p.m. EST on June 1 or the Friday before the program’s final exam period, whichever occurs first. 

Grade modes cannot be changed once final exams have begun. 

The Pass/No Pass form is available at this link.  It includes further instructions and requires the signature of an academic advisor.  If a student’s academic advisor is unable to complete the form, an email from the advisor clearly stating their approval is also acceptable.

Pass/No Pass approval forms and emails may be uploaded to students’ My Study Abroad pages or sent to studyabroad@purdue.edu in advance of the deadlines above.  Students are encouraged to contact their study abroad advisors with any questions or concerns they may have.
