My name is Hannah Elizabeth Robalino Avilés, and I am from Ecuador. I graduated from the University of Zamorano with a degree in Environmental and Development Engineering. My goal is to develop strong research skills in preparation for pursuing a Master’s degree. Currently, I am a visiting scholar in the Sustainable Horticulture Lab under the guidance of Dr. Moriah Bilenky.
I am actively involved in the Integration Crop Livestock System project, where my responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, assisting with fieldwork such as tomato harvesting, soil sampling, and maintaining cover crops and plots. I also contribute to the laboratory processing of microbiological samples, cover crop sorting, and soil sieving. Additionally, I support other projects within the Sustainable Horticulture Lab.
