Stephen Meyers traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina last week to take part in the North Carolina State University (NCSU)- College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Alumni Awards. On October 6, Meyers provided an invited seminar, entitled “Research, Teach, Extend… Repeat”, to the Department of Horticultural Science. He attended a department luncheon and question/answer session with graduate students and two other alumni award recipients (Walter Havener, 2023 Outstanding Alumnus and Aurora Baltazar, 2022 Outstanding Alumnus). Later that evening, Dr. Meyers accepted an Outstanding Young Alumnus award at a formal ceremony. Additional festivities included attending the NCSU-CALS Ag-Day tailgate event and cheering on the Wolfpack football team against Marshall University.
