HLA Faculty Received 2023 AgSEED Grants

Congratulations to Kranthi Varala and Celina Gomez for receiving 2023 AgSEED grants.

Kranthi Varala’s project is “Improving oil content and composition of Camelina seeds through overexpressing novel regulators of lipid biosynthesis.” Wenjing Guan and Petrus Langenhoven are co-PI’s for this project.

Celina Gomez’s project is “Using a Citizen Science Approach to Strengthen Research and Extension Programs in Consumer Horticulture.” Karen Mitchell is co-PI for this project.
