ASHS Recognizes Outstanding Purdue Undergraduate Students

The American Society for Horticultural Science has recognized several HLA Undergraduate students.

Morgan Klein was awarded the 2025 Outstanding Undergraduate Award Winner. Students are selected for this award on the basis of their academic achievements, leadership abilities, participation in campus/club activities, and service to their department.

Nine undergraduate students were honored as 2025 ASHS Collegiate Scholars. Juniors and seniors majoring in horticulture must be in the top 15% of their class academically to be recognized. Gavin Kenning, Ren Rund, Isaac Damer, Brody Piel, Camille Kristinik, Morgan Klein, Faith Hartman, Ava Antic and Otto Hoehl were selected as this year’s collegiate scholar.
