HLA faculty members Krishna Nemali and Stephen Meyers are serving as Fulbright Scholars this year, contributing to Purdue University’s distinction as a top producer of Fulbright scholars for the fifth consecutive year. Nemali is working in India on “Climate‑Smart Agriculture: Reducing Water Wastage and Increasing Nitrogen Use Efficiency Using Smart Sensors with Decision Support and IoT (Internet of Things) Capability,” while Meyers is conducting Fulbright research in Australia on “Black Soldier Fly Compost Tea for Low‑Input and Sustainable Weed Management.”
