Janice Buckles

Jan BucklesJan worked in the Nutrition Science Department for 18 wonderful years. She retired in January 2016.

She has been married to her best friend, Steve for 41 fabulous years. They have lived in the same little town for almost 38 years. They have four amazing kids and eight precious grandkids.

They spend a lot of time visiting their kids and grandkids all over the U.S. which has enabled them to see a great deal of our beautiful country. Jan enjoys going on long walks with her sweet Shih-Tzu, Sammie; who in fact is quite spoiled and goes most places with them.

Jan loves following her former students and celebrating their successes, marriages, births, and supporting them in times of need. Her hope has always been and always will be that she will make a difference in the lives of as many students as possible. She always hopes to make hearts smile.
