A student takes flight
Elizabeth A. Hroma (BSN ’16) received Purdue’s Amelia Earhart Scholarship and was recognized at Purdue’s 2016 spring commencement ceremony.
The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior with a GPA of 3.2 or higher who demonstrates leadership, determination, ability and potential in academic and/or community activities.
Hroma now works as a registered nurse in the neurology/neurosurgery unit at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
2017 Nursing ambassadors
Eight students in the School of Nursing have been selected as College of Health and Human Sciences student ambassadors. The students serve as representatives of the college for recruiting, advancement and alumni activities.
