2025 HHS Highlights

Black and gold balloons

With so much to celebrate, it was difficult to narrow down our list of College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) highlights for 2025. See what made the list (below), and visit the HHS news blog or join us on social media for more of what we were up to this year.

Developing Initiatives

We are moving forward with our One Health cluster hires, an important investment that expands our interdisciplinary capacity to address the complex connections between human, animal and plant health.

STEP N2 STEM: Striving Toward Educational Progress in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math is a fun-filled event that seeks to engage school-age children in STEM fields supporting health and human development.

HHS continues to strengthen its role at Purdue in Indianapolis through the introduction of dynamic, future-focused programs and facilities that position our college at the center of health innovation. Our Accessible Precision Audiology Research Center in Indianapolis is providing new pathways for collaboration and community engagement on all things hearing health. Meanwhile, excitement is growing as we prepare to launch three academic programs in Indianapolis this fall: the B.S. in hospitality and tourism management, the M.S. in sport management, and our new M.S. in athletic training. We are proud to expand our academic footprint in Indianapolis and to increase our service to the state of Indiana. Learn more about HHS in Indianapolis.
