Aiden Helm, a junior at Purdue’s White Lodging-J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management studying hospitality and tourism management with a minor in events and meetings management, has been appointed as the Student Café Executive Officer (SCEO) for Saxbys at Purdue this semester. Set to graduate in the spring of 2026, Aiden is stepping into this leadership role with enthusiasm and a deep commitment to Saxbys’ mission to “Make Life Better.”

Aiden’s journey with Saxbys began when he joined the opening team, where he quickly fell in love with the business. Drawn to the company’s values, he eagerly applied for the SCEO position, and now he proudly serves as the second SCEO of the Purdue café. In this role, Aiden aims to enhance his management skills, gain hands-on business experience, and develop his team-building and leadership abilities.

Looking ahead, Aiden sees this opportunity as a crucial step toward his long-term career goals, including becoming a general manager or opening his own restaurant. He is also eager to connect with the Purdue community, encouraging everyone to visit Saxbys and explore opportunities like dine-to-donate nights.

Congratulations to Aiden Helm on this well-deserved role. We look forward to seeing his impact at Saxbys and beyond!
