Hospitality is built on the experiences we create for others. The quality of those experiences is shaped by something we rarely examine: the state of the people creating them.

For decades, performance culture rewarded speed, sacrifice, and the ability to carry more. It produced extraordinary results while normalizing urgency, over-functioning, and exhaustion. Putting people first means raising the standard for both the experience we create and the energy it costs to create it.

In this interactive keynote, Sarah Mullins introduces Energy Culture and her Frequency → Wave → Ripple framework, revealing how the state within us becomes the experience around us. Participants will see how energy moves through tone, pace, decisions, and behavior, shaping how others feel, respond, and perform.

Grounded in neuroscience and Return on Energy, the session introduces the Wave Check, a three-question tool for high-pressure moments, and a new standard for success: extraordinary performance that strengthens the people creating it.
