Wei Guo

Current Research Interests:

Wei was born and raised in China. Prior to entering Purdue, Wei obtained his Master Degree in Genetics at China Agricultural University, Beijing, China, where he studied Program Cell Death in plants. At Purdue, Wei was trained as a classical geneticist to explore the regulation and evolution of transposable elements in maize (Zea mays). In his spare time, Wei loves cooking, watching war movies and chasing with his cat, Gu Guuuuuuu.
