Prospective Faculty

Thank you for your interest in joining the Interdisciplinary Ecological Sciences and Engineering (ESE) program as a faculty member!  Current Purdue University faculty members in any of our Associated Academic Departments are eligible to become ESE faculty members.

Click here to complete a short application to become an ESE faculty member.

ESE students are part of both the interdisciplinary ESE community and the community in their degree granting departments (click here to see the list of degree-granting departments that are associated with ESE).  During the recruitment and admissions process, prospective ESE students will browse and contact ESE faculty members who they are interested in working with and will indicate those faculty members’ names on their application. During the admission process the ESE Graduate Program Specialist communicates with the faculty members and departments that each applicant is interested in to see if there is a good fit.  Students who enroll in the ESE program partner with a faculty advisor (one of our ESE faculty members) and are usually a part of that faculty member’s academic department.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at ese@purdue.edu.  Thank you!
