Sean Mckee

Sean McKee is the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Office of Future Engineers (OFE) and oversees the College of Engineering’s undergraduate recruitment efforts across the state of Indiana and on Purdue’s campus.

Prior to his work in recruitment and student advising, Sean began his career by teaching high school and dual credit Spanish for 4 years. He enjoys using his Spanish skills as much as possible by traveling, watching Spanish TV shows (ask him for recommendations!), and using Spanish to assist him in his recruitment role. Sean began his career in higher education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an admissions counselor and later served as an academic advisor and program coordinator for the Engineering Undeclared program at Illinois. He enjoys getting to help guide students as they find their college and major fit and begin their early steps into their collegiate journeys.

Sean moved back to the area to join OFE in Spring 2024. In his free time, he enjoys workouts, lifting, going on walks and hikes, and finding any way to put some movement into his day. He also is an avid Purdue sports fan. Boiler up!
