Admitted engineering students are invited to our series of live stream events that take place on YouTube. Viewers are able to submit questions to the panelists throughout each event.

Purdue Engineering Live is a series of live, virtual events that focus on a particular aspect of Purdue Engineering and feature a panel of current students, staff and/or faculty. These events are exclusively for admitted students and their families to allow them to learn more about Purdue Engineering and ask questions in real-time interactions.
Each of the events will take place on WebEx webinar platform, and viewers will be able to submit questions to the panelists throughout each event. Links to register for each live event will be emailed directly to you in the days leading up to each broadcast but are also available below. Replays will be posted on our YouTube channel the day following each event.

Congrats & Questions – Tuesday Feb. 10, 2026 – 7:00-8:30 p.m. ES
Congrats again on your admission to Purdue Engineering in Indianapolis! You’ve probably heard that a lot by now, but we’re certainly not tired of saying it!
Here at the Office of Future Engineers, our goal is to help you determine if Purdue Engineering is the right place for you. Obviously, we’d love for everyone to find their fit here, but we also know students have their own criteria for what they are looking for in a college.
With that in mind, we want to celebrate your admission and answer any initial questions you may have about Purdue in Indianapolis, so we’d like to invite you to join us for our upcoming broadcast called Engineering Live: Welcome and Congrats! We’ll have current Purdue engineering students and staff from our Indianapolis location on-hand to share what it’s really like to pursue a Purdue Engineering degree, plus some special guests from the College of Engineering.
What are classes like? Is there time for fun? Can I study abroad? Are there research opportunities in Indianapolis? Where are the dorms, what is the student to faculty ratio etc… We’re here to answer all your questions!
Electrical and Computer Engineering – Tuesday Feb. 17, 2026 – 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST
We invite you to join us on February 17th at 7pm for a virtual session designed specifically for students admitted to the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the electrical and computer engineering at Purdue in Indianapolis. Faculty and current students within the College of Engineering will be present to provide insight regarding our ECE programs, coursework, lab spaces, internships and more. Mechanical Engineering – Tuesday Feb. 19, 2026 – 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST
We invite you to join us on February 19th at 7pm for a virtual session designed specifically for students admitted to the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue in Indianapolis.
This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the mechanical engineering at Purdue in Indianapolis. We invite you to join us on February 23rd at 7pm for a virtual session designed specifically for students admitted to the School of Motorsports Engineering at Purdue in Indianapolis.

This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the industrial engineering at Purdue in Indianapolis. Industry Experience, Internships, Co-Ops – Wednesday March 11, 2026 – 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. EST
We’ll discuss the many industry connections and opportunities our students have at Purdue in Indianapolis. You’ll hear from our students and staff as they discuss internship and co-ops available to our students, experiences they’ve had in the classroom with industry partners and much more!
Questions about our live events …
What platform will these sessions take place on? Do I need to download anything?
All of the Purdue Engineering Live sessions will take place on the WebEx webinar platform. Participation will be asked to enter their name and email address upon joining the live event. We will use a Q&A platform called Slido. You can easily join from your smartphone or desktop/laptop!
Will I be able to ask questions during the sessions?
Absolutely! Every session will have a Q&A platform for viewers to send in questions to the panelists. It’s the highlight of these broadcasts!
What if I am unable to view a session live? Will I be able to watch it later?
Yes! Check out the replays on our YouTube channel, where we will post a full recording of every session that has taken place. Replays will be posted the following day.
