Welcome to INPREP's & Purdue Extension's Home & Family Emergency Planning site!
This site includes resources related to disaster and emergency preparedness for individuals and families, with a special emphasis on the needs of those impacted by disabilities.
These materials are designed for Extension Educators, teachers, and volunteers to teach a 1-hour lesson. The resources include a slide set with full instructor notes, a handout summary sheet, a Go-Bag prepping checklist, and a fillable PDF template for developing a family emergency plan. These materials focus on preparedness needs for everyone, but maintain a focus on those with disability or chronic health challenges.
If you have questions about any of these materials, please email ejsheldo@purdue.edu.
