The 2021 Environmental Justice Film Series presents the film Sembradoras de Vida (Mothers of the Land) as part of the Environmental Justice Symposium this Thursday, March. 25th from 6-7:15 PM. Link: https://www.mothersofthelandfilm.com/
This Quechua and Spanish language 2019 documentary with English subtitles accompany five women from the Andean highlands discuss their traditional knowledge and practices in order to maintain a sustainable agriculture. Diego Sarmiento, the Director of the film will participate in a post-screening discussion from 7:16-7:45 PM.
