Dr. Erika Foster from the Nexus " Soil, Health, Impairment, and Vulnerability Assessment (SHIVA)" project will be presenting on Friday, October 11th from 12-1 PM at MANN 203, the webinar :
"A discussion of Nexus Field Trainnings and Workshops to Find Synergies with Soil Health"
Dr. Foster will briefly describe the SHIVA plan to train and implement test kit for farmers in Arequipa to examine soil health. She will discuss the potential analyses to include within the kits, and how the measurements can be user-freindly and useful for the farmers. At the end, Dr. Foster will discuss previous Nexus workshops/trainings, lessons learned, and how to plan general timelines and locations for future workshops.
