Ready, set, enroll: Open enrollment for 2023 benefits to begin Tuesday

Benefits open enrollment for 2023 begins Tuesday (Oct. 25) and ends at 6 p.m. ET Nov. 8. All Purdue University and Purdue Global employees are strongly encouraged to review and actively enroll for 2023 benefits.

Purdue Global celebrates nearly 1,200 graduates in West Lafayette commencement ceremonies

On Saturday (Oct. 22), 1,177 Purdue Global graduates took part in in-person and virtual commencement ceremonies at Elliott Hall of Music on the Purdue West Lafayette campus. The graduates reside in 47 states – including 241 Indiana residents – plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, as well as the Bahamas, Canada, Mexico and Pakistan. Some 187 graduates are affiliated with the military. Thirty-three systemwide university employees were among those who earned a Purdue Global degree or certificate via the Purdue Global education benefit. Share the news: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn

Two Purdue faculty receive first-ever Teaching Catalyst Award

Lindsey Payne, director of service learning and assistant professor of practice in environmental and ecological engineering, and Kim Illingworth, assistant dean for learning and assessment and professor of pharmacy practice, have received the inaugural Teaching Catalyst Award. The Office of Engagement’s Service-Learning Fellows Program helps Purdue instructors design and develop courses, projects and curricula that blend learning objectives with acts of community service.
