Purdue’s Steven Collicott was 8 years old when he saw Neil Armstrong step onto the moon and dreamed of reaching the stars. Now, both he and his research are going to make a giant leap into space aboard a Virgin Galactic craft.

PMO Christmas Show

Live performance, virtual audience: PMO Christmas Show back at Elliott Hall

For 88 years, the Purdue Christmas Show has been a university tradition. The holiday spectacular features performances from nearly 300 singers, bell ringers and musicians across seven ensembles. Purdue Musical Organizations will present this year’s Christmas Show through the new PMO streaming site starting today (Dec. 17).

Bringing Our Best

After escaping from Afghanistan, instructor brings family to WL

For three consecutive days, Purdue instructor Mariam and her family traveled to the Kabul airport in Afghanistan, attempting to catch a return flight to the United States and her job at Purdue. With support from her Purdue colleagues and members of the Greater Lafayette community, the family finally arrived in West Lafayette this fall to start over in America.
