Teaching@Purdue 2018 to feature 150th Anniversary Professors

Members of the Purdue community are invited to discussions on the framework for developing the provost's Teaching and Learning Initiative at the Teaching@Purdue 2018 sessions scheduled across the West Lafayette campus this fall. Featured panelists are 150th Anniversary Professors recognized this past spring for their achievements in outstanding instruction for institutional excellence.

Commentators to discuss Supreme Court nomination, arguments in U.S. politics at 150th Giant Leaps event

Renowned political writers and commentators Ben Domenech and Ezra Klein will be featured speakers at an upcoming 150 Years of Giant Leaps event on Sept. 26. Domenech, the founder and publisher of The Federalist, and Klein, editor-at-large and founder of Vox, will join President Mitch Daniels for an hourlong conversation and audience Q&A at 6:15 p.m. in Stewart Center's Fowler Hall.

'Frankenstein' production will address key morality question as part of Ideas Festival

'Frankenstein' drama

The Aquila Theatre's production of "Frankenstein" will be performed Oct. 2-3 at Purdue and address a key morality question: "Just because we can do it, should we do it?" This is one of many events celebrating Purdue's sesquicentennial, 150 Years of Giant Leaps. These performances are part of Purdue's Ideas Festival and the theme "Health, Longevity and Quality of Life."
