Super Splash

Instructors, Coordinators, Connectors

The Team Supervisors, known around Boiler Gold Rush as Supers, are volunteers serving in an mid-level leadership role. Team Supervisors work in Residence Hall and Off-Campus groups to act as mentors and coordinators for Team Leaders and New Students. Supers are selected late in the Fall semester and attend a retreat to kick-off their experience. In the Spring, Supers attend Supervisor Trainings and facilitate Team Leader Trainings. Supers are the backbone of the Boiler Gold Rush program and ensure that the behind the scenes aspects of the program run smoothly. As an added bonus, students who serve as Supers grow professionally and make long-lasting relationships with their peers.

Team Supervisor International

Team Supervisor International volunteers further assist Team Leader Internationals during Boiler Gold Rush International. TSi's check new international students into their Residence Halls and help run the events that take place during BGRi. As a team, they look out for the New Students and help make their transition to Purdue and the United States exciting, informational, and smooth.

Application Process

The application to become a Team Supervisor opens each year in October. The BGR Student Orientation Committee hosts two days of callouts to share information about the position. Students may then apply online and attend an interview as they move through the application process.

Team Super International volunteers must be back on campus by August 9, 2016.

Team Super volunteers must be back by August 11, 2016.
