Super Splash

Instructors, Coordinators, Connectors

Team Supervisors, known around BGR as ‘Supers,’ are volunteers serving in mid-level leadership roles. They have gone through BGR as Team Leaders and are able to expand their BGR involvement in this position. Selected in November, they train up until the week of BGR on mentoring Team Leaders and new students. Supers work closely with the Student Orientation Committee. They also attend Supervisor training and help with Team Leader training. Supers are the backbone of the BGR program and ensure the program runs well behind the scenes. As an added bonus, Supers grow professionally and make long-lasting relationships with their peers.

Team Supervisor International

Team Supervisor International volunteers further assist Team Leader Internationals during BGR International. This group checks new international students into their Residence Halls and runs BGRi events. The team makes international students’ transition to Purdue and the US exciting and informational.

Application Process

The application to become a Team Supervisor opens each year in October. The BGR Student Orientation Committee hosts two days of callouts to share information about the position. Students may then apply online and attend an interview as they move through the application process.

Team Super International volunteers must be back on campus by Aug. 8, 2017.

Team Super volunteers must be back by Aug. 10, 2017.
