Purchasing a Permit

Follow the steps below to purchase a new campus parking permit. 

1. Be prepared.

• You'll need the following information to register your vehicle through Purdue's online parking portal: 

  • License plate number
  • License plate type
  • License plate state
  • Vehicle year
  • Vehicle make
  • Vehicle model
  • Vehicle color
  • Registration expiration month
  • Registration expiration year

• Take a picture of your license plate so you have license plate and registration information readily available. This photo is only for your personal reference and won't be uploaded to the the parking portal.

2. Visit the online Parking Portal.

All individuals who wish to park on campus in Purdue parking lots or garages need to have a valid parking permit. 

• Go to https://purdue.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal.
• Select "Permits" from the top navigation section of the webpage.
• Select "Get Permits."
• Click "Purchase a New Permit."
• Select "Purdue Login" if you are a student, faculty or staff.
  • Select "Guest Login" if you are a visitor.
• Then follow the remaining steps accordingly.
• After purchasing a permit, you should be prompted to register your vehicle. If not, continue to Step 3 below and complete the listed actions.

3. Register your license plate.

Follow the instructions below to register your vehicle for the License Plate Recognition system. This is required for all individuals parking on campus.

• Visit the online Parking Portal at https://purdue.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal.
• Select "Vehicles" from the top navigation section of the webpage.
• Select "Purdue Login" and use your Purdue career account credentials.
• Click "Add Vehicle" to add a vehicle to the account, or click the underlined license plate number of an existing vehicle to edit the information.
• Populate all fields with your license plate and vehicle information.
• Click "Permits" in the top navigation bar, followed by "View Your Permits."
• Select a permit number listed.
• Click "Add Vehicles to Permit" at the bottom of the page.
• Check the box next to the vehicle(s) to be associated with the permit and select "Add the selected vehicle."
