Summer Temporary Vehicle Storage Permits

Vehicles that remain on campus for 24 hours or longer anytime between April 27-Aug. 18 must be permitted and stored according to the directions provided below.

Enforcement

All campus parking locations will be enforced over the summer months. Vehicles that are parked without a valid permit for 24 hours or longer will be subject to receiving a citation and may be impounded at the owner’s expense.

Faculty, staff or students who temporarily store their vehicles in a different campus location for the summer should return them to their regularly assigned parking locations prior to 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19. Normal parking enforcement will resume at that time.

Temporary Vehicle Storage Permits

The following temporary vehicle storage permit options are available for summer:

  • 10-day permit: $15
  • 30-day permit: $30
  • Full summer permit: $90

Individuals who purchase one of these permits will be allowed to store their vehicle in a non-reserved space only in the McCutcheon Drive Parking Garage between April 27-Aug. 18. Please be sure that your vehicle's registration is current and will not lapse over the summer months. Vehicles with expired plates will be subject to receiving a citation.

Complete the brief online form to request a temporary permit. You will be notified through email within 1-2 business days of submission when you are eligible to purchase the permit through the online parking portal. For 10- or 30-day permits, you will select the desired dates at that time. The full summer permits will automatically be valid April 27-Aug. 18. No payment is required until the permit is purchased online.

This is an electronic parking permit, and parking enforcement will be based on the assigned vehicle’s license plate number, which must remain visible at all times. See related information about front plates.
