Pardoned national Thanksgiving turkeys to arrive at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —Peanut Butter and Jelly, the national Thanksgiving turkeys that President Joseph R. Biden Jr. pardoned on Nov. 19, will be welcomed to their new home at Purdue University 1-2 p.m. Monday (Nov. 29) on Purdue Memorial Mall (weather permitting). There will be photo opportunities with the turkeys in front of the Boilermaker Special for media and other attendees. Animal Sciences professor Marisa Erasmus will be available to answer questions about the turkeys’ new home and care.

If weather conditions require canceling the event, Purdue Agriculture will post on its Twitter account, @PurdueAg
