Educational partnership between Purdue University Global and QLI aims to build nursing pipeline

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — In its ongoing pursuit to provide educational opportunities with tuition reduction to leading health care organizations nationwide, Purdue University Global is collaborating with Quality Living Inc. (QLI) of Omaha, Nebraska.

“Purdue University Global is proud to be able to partner with such a highly esteemed organization like QLI as they pursue their mission to offer life-changing rehab services,” said Melissa Burdi, Purdue Global vice president and dean of the School of Nursing. “Our partnership will allow both organizations to help build the pipeline of nurses for many years to come.”

The Purdue Global School of Nursing offers an associate degree program, RN-BSN, six Master of Science in Nursing specialties and Doctor of Nursing programs. Additional Purdue Global offerings include business, criminal justice, human services and psychology, among others. The partnership does not include Concord Law School or aviation programs.

QLI staff and immediate family members (spouse, domestic partner, children, siblings and parents) will be afforded 20% tuition reduction for undergraduate programs, 14% reduction for graduate programs and 10% reduction for doctoral programs.

“Nurses serve a crucial purpose in QLI's efforts to deliver life-changing rehabilitation and care to the populations it serves," said Alicia Easton, vice president of human resources for QLI. From traumatic brain injuries, to spinal cord injuries, to strokes or chronic pain diagnoses, QLI's post-hospital environment houses tremendous expertise to manage some of the most challenging demands in all of health care. We're proud to offer an extraordinary, diverse learning environment for those training in the Purdue Global nursing program and eager to put them in a position to change lives.
