Purdue alumnus featured in new documentary

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Filmmaker Adam Stjärnljus will screen his new documentary, “Through the Valleys,” featuring a Purdue graduate student and professor.

The documentary describes the experiences of Robin Blomdin, who as a Purdue graduate student is given his first chance to lead a geological field work assignment in Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan. It will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday (Feb. 10) in Room 239 of Stanley Coulter Hall.

Along with Blomdin, the documentary also features Marc W. Caffee, professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

The event is open to the public, but seating is limited to 100 people.
