Purdue Memorial Union to host Family Fun Day canceled, due to weather

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue Memorial Union's Family Fun Day, scheduled for 2-4 p.m. today (March 1) has been canceled due to today's snowstorm.
Free and open to the public, the event will feature food, inflatables and crafts. Information tables about camps and summer activities at Purdue and in the community will provide information about summer opportunities for children.
"Last year's Family Fun Day was well attended, and we received a lot of positive reaction to it," said Margie Jones, program director for the Union's programs and recreation department. "The event helps further the Union's mission to enrich the quality of life on campus and to build community on campus and in the community by inviting people to participate in formal programs and informal opportunities to gather, study, work, develop and have fun."
