Purdue Musical Organizations presents inspirational 'Embrace the Sound'
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The fourth offering from "Embrace the Sound," an arts series from Purdue Musical Organizations featuring five performances which are free and open to the public, will be presented on March 2.
The Purduettes and Heart & Soul will perform inspirational pieces and other selections beginning at 7 p.m. at University Church, 320 North St. in West Lafayette.
"Each ensemble will perform a mixture of sacred and secular pieces before coming together," said Jon Ranard, Director of Heart & Soul and Assistant Director of Purduettes.
More than 250 students perform with PMO annually. Purdue has no school of music, so nearly every academic major is represented in the organization.
