WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue Varsity Glee Club will perform a joint concert with the Cornell University Glee Club on Jan. 12 at Purdue.

"We always look forward to opportunities where our students can collaborate with other musicians," said Bill Griffel, Purdue Musical Organizations (PMO) director. "We are very excited to welcome Cornell’s Glee Club to Purdue and showcase these two very talented and very different ensembles."

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas, located at 535 W. State St., West Lafayette. Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for adults. For more information or to order tickets, call PMO at 765-494-3941.

Founded in 1893, the Purdue Varsity Glee Club is one of six ensembles that comprise PMO. Purdue has no school of music, and nearly every academic major is represented in the organization.

The Cornell University Glee Club was founded in 1868 and includes music majors as well as student performers from all schools at the university.
