All Aboard 2023 for Parents & Families
All Aboard Parents & Families Resources
All Aboard, previously known as STAR or VSTAR, is the new name for Purdue's required summer orientation program for beginning and transfer students. It is broken into four steps that cover the period between early May and mid-August: PUR 101, Purdue Advising, PUR 102, and Purdue Welcome. Purdue Welcome encompasses Boiler Gold Rush (BGR), BGR-International, as well as programs for musicians and athletes.
But All Aboard is not just for students! During the All Aboard program, the Exploratory Studies staff offers parents and families orientation information so they can assist their students in their high-school-to-college transition.
