Hometown

I grew up 30 minutes away in a small town called Delphi, Indiana. There were just under 100 students in my graduating class.

Education

  • B.S., Theatre Creation, Ball State University
  • M.S., Higher Education - College Teaching Concentration, Purdue Global

Experience

I have several miscellaneous experiences prior to coming to Purdue. I have been a Babysitter, a Dance Instructor, Character Performer for a princess company I created, a Craft Fair Booth Runner (ask me about dog bandanas), a House Manager for a non-profit and historic theatre, a Waitress at a local pub, and an Eligibility Assistant for the local food stamp and Medicare office. Since coming to Purdue in October 2021, I worked in the Registrar's Office mainly focused on document retention, record reconciliation, and changing students' curriculum. Now, I am here as an Academic Advisor in Exploratory Studies!

  • You get out what you put in, give your academics the priority role while you are here.
  • Stay safe and be smart with your decisions.

Fun Facts

  • I foster kittens.
  • I have six siblings and three in-laws.
  • I am a sweet-treat type of person, a little piece of chocolate can motivate me so much.
  • I once trained in NYC for musical theatre. During that time, I watched several Broadway shows and even auditioned for a casting agent.
  • I have watched the entirety of Dance Moms at least 14 times, honestly I stopped counting. It is my background show while I am getting other tasks done.
