Electronic Information, Communication and Technology Accessibility 

The creation and dissemination of knowledge is a defining characteristic of universities and is fundamental to Purdue University's mission to promote learning, discovery and engagement. The use of digital and Web-based delivery of information is increasingly central to carrying out the University’s mission. Reporting Access Issues

  • To report trouble accessing a particular Webpage or Website, please contact the person or department in charge of the Webpage or Website.  Contact information is located in the footer of the Webpage. 
  • To report trouble accessing student-related electronic information, communication and technology, please contact the Disability Resource Center at (765) 494-1247 or drc@purdue.edu.
  • For all other electronic information, communication and technology access issues, please contact the Office of Institutional Equity at (765) 494-7253 or equity@purdue.edu.
  • Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) is responsible for overseeing and enforcing the University’s Web Accessibility Policy.  To learn more about web accessibility compliance, please visit Web Accessibility at Purdue
  • Compliance Sheriff (CS) is an automated accessibility testing tool maintained and administered by OIE and ITaP.  CS helps organizations ensure that their web pages meet accessibility standards.  To learn more about CS including information on gaining access, please visit Web Accessibility at Purdue.    
  • Web Accessibility Committee website lists resources, guidelines, tools and training to assist individuals with making their Web pages accessible. The Committee's website includes a technical FAQ section and volunteers from the Web Accessibility Committee are available for technical questions, and these questions can be submitted using the questionnaire form on their contact page. Purdue staff interested in receiving email notification of upcoming Web accessibility-related news and information can subscribe to the Web accessibility mailing list.
  • Web Accessibility Mixable Group: log in by using your Purdue career username and password. Browse Web Accessibility in the group settings and select join. Select a status: Connected (can post) or View Only (can’t post).
