Provost finalists named; will make on-campus presentations Dec. 7-9

The search committee for Purdue's next provost has announced the selection of three finalists who will hold open forums on campus in early December. The committee reviewed the credentials of 10 applicants and selected the following colleagues at Purdue as finalists: Eric Barker, the Jeannie and Jim Chaney Dean of the College of Pharmacy; Marion Underwood, Dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences; and Patrick Wolfe, the Frederick L. Hovde Dean of the College of Science.

After battling injury at the start of his basketball career, he’s learned that all good things in life are difficult before they become easy. Thanks to his persistent Boilermaker outlook, he’s not only a pro on the court, but he’s also an inspiring mentor to his teammates and the next hopeful generation of star players. The holiday season at Purdue University kicked off Monday (Nov. 28) with the arrival of a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree at the Purdue Memorial Union's Great Hall. The annual ceremony for the lighting of the tree followed on Wednesday (Nov. 30). President Mitch Daniels gave remarks and lit the tree, and Purdue Soundtracks caroled during the event.
