Purdue’s West Lafayette campus welcomed its largest incoming class in history with its annual Boiler Gold Rush International (BGRi) and Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) orientation programs. More than 8,400 incoming students participated in BGR/BGRi, including about 200 second-year students who participated in Purdue's fully online orientation experience during their first year.

Purdue Farmers Market returning to Memorial Mall on Thursday

Purdue University Campus Planning, Architecture and Sustainability has announced that the Purdue Farmers Market is scheduled to resume on Thursday (Aug. 26). The market will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 28 at Memorial Mall. It will be open to the public, and visitor parking is available in the nearby Grant Street Parking Garage at hourly rates.

Campus COVID-19 vaccination rate ranks among highest of any community in the state

Sending a strong message to their classmates, co-workers and all of Indiana, 79% of Purdue’s West Lafayette campus is documented as fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the start of the fall semester. Related: The current vaccination rate is always available on the Protect Purdue dashboard.
