In a message going out to students this morning, President Mitch Daniels thanks students for the overwhelming cooperation and compliance that have helped the fall semester get off to a good start. Daniels and two Protect Purdue ambassadors also delivered a special message about staying safe this weekend and safely bringing more weekend social programs in the near future.

As students returned to the West Lafayette campus for the 2020-21 academic year, they were greeted with several new buildings, renovated spaces and work underway on other major facilities.

Each year, more than 50 million Americans develop gastrointestinal issues that lead them to question the safety of their most recent meals. It’s entirely possible that their distress could be caused not by the food they have eaten, but the meals served to their furry friends.

Purdue welcomed incoming students with its annual Boiler Gold Rush International and Boiler Gold Rush orientation programs. More than 6,200 incoming students participated in the on-campus BGR/BGRi experience, and nearly 700 participated in the fully online experience.

With the cancellation of University-sponsored on-campus convocations and conferences under the guidelines of Protect Purdue, Purdue’s Hall of Music Productions is adapting to continue to support Purdue’s campus and students.
