Winners of the 2020 teaching awards — Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Awards in Memory of Charles B. Murphy, the Exceptional Early Career Award and the Excellence in Instruction Award for Continuing Lecturers — have been named.

Faculty virtually transforming Purdue

As a bright light to these unprecedented times, Purdue already has taken steps to develop virtual labs — and the timing couldn’t be better with the recent move to remote instructional delivery. One example of this transformation is in the College of Engineering.

Colleges at Purdue join virtual food drive to support Food Finders

Over the past nine years, the College of Agriculture has collected a total of 319,438 pounds of food to donate to Food Finders Food Bank during its annual food drive. This year, instead of gathering food donations on campus, monetary contributions will be collected online. The College of Agriculture is joined in the food drive by seven other major academic units.

Events

Purdue has announced that university-sponsored events involving external visitors will be canceled effective March 16 through May 2. The Big Ten Conference has canceled intercollegiate athletic competition by its member universities for the spring. Those planning to attend events should check with event organizers to confirm.
