PACADA honors two academic advisors for outstanding work

The Purdue Academic Advising Association (PACADA) recently honored two academic advisors for their exceptional care and dedication to student success. Cassie Pendleton, academic advisor in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, received the Outstanding New Professional award, and Pat George, academic advisor in the College of Pharmacy, received the Outstanding Academic Advisor award.

Purdue’s Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center held its Lunar New Year Celebration on Feb. 1 at the Córdova Recreational Sports Center to celebrate the start of the Year of the Rat. The event featured activity booths, Chinese Lion Dance and tae kwon do demonstrations, and performances by the Purdue Chinese Performing Arts Troupe, BACI Indianapolis and Okinawa Yuyukai.
